Put on your Red Tutu and be happy!

The most delightful woman came into the shop Saturday and asked me if I would make a tutu for her friend. She went on to tell me that she and her dearest friend have had a long-standing saying that no one could ever be unhappy in a red tutu. I happen to agree whole-heartedly! So she insisted that her friend have a red tutu. After all, every woman should have a red tutu for those days when the sun isn't shining. And for her dearest friend, a red tutu it was, fluffed and packaged just right. In honor of Mary I am offering free shipping on all red tutus through July 31st. I agree with you Mary, no one could ever be unhappy in a red tutu!

Always good intentions.

As it often goes, when I set out to photograph my darlings in BB&L clothing I often end up gushing and missing the shot of the merchandise altogether. I guess I should leave the photography up to the professionals. Shown here are my two boys, with whom I'm completely smitten, stylin' in the Knuckleheads Greaser Jeans. The Greaser Jeans have just gone on sale at BB&L so that we can make room for our fantastic Knuckleheads Fall line! We have also knocked the prices way down on all the boys' pants. Go check it out! And wait til you see what Knuckleheads has come up with for Fall '08. We are itching to get our hands on the new goods!

So maybe you can't see the jeans too well in these pictures, you'll have to go check them out at the site! This does, however, give me a fun opportunity to give some love to my little cuties! After all, these darlings are much of the reason that Bee Bops exists!

Our doors are open!

Hello friends and family! Summer is here and we are indeed celebrating life, love, and the immense joy we have found as we watch Bee Bops & Lollipops grow. When we launched Bee Bops online nearly 8 months ago I would have never dreamed that I would be writing a blog entry such as this. It is with great joy that we announce the opening of our BRICK & MORTAR location. In addition to our online boutique, we are located in the wonderfully quaint downtown shopping district of Snohomish, Washington. We have found that Bee Bops & Lollipops is a perfect fit for Snohomish and we are quickly becoming a part of the community. What fun!

How did this happen? I often wonder that myself. I know that although I have worked hard, most of what Bee Bops has become has very little to do with me, really. The most wonderful people have simply dropped into my life. We now have our very own space, all thanks to Allison Olsen owner of Inside Out, a delightful boutique that carries attainable indulgences for home and garden. A short time ago, after seeing our products and getting to know me and my dream for BB&L, Allison insisted that Bee Bops & Lollipops would be great in Snohomish. To help BB&L create a presence, Allison thoughtfully encouraged me to utilize space in her shop. So Bee Bops & Lollipops has opened a mini-boutique within Inside Out. We have created two businesses in one! What a treat to become part of a boutique that already has fantastic clientele. Allison’s shop is run with true class and style and I am incredibly honored to be a part of the Inside Out family.

Please come visit us! I would love nothing more than to see our faithful shoppers, many of whom I’ve grown to love, in person. We are currently working on some fantastic events at the shop. Saturday, August 9^th we will have our grand opening event with a wonderful fashion show featuring our newest tutus with oodles and oodles of darling little models.
