Our sweet princess turns 2 today.  How can it be that these last two years have passed so quickly?  As with every one of my three children, when these early birthdays come it's a bit hard to accept that the baby days are slipping away.  Yet, I joyfully celebrate each new stage in Gwen's life, my emotions are indeed mixed.  Today we celebrate with so much happiness, TWO!

With Gwen's birthday upon us, it seemed fitting to add some new party hat styles!  This one in particular matches some of our great Hula Mula goodies, which in fact, Gwen will be wearing at her birthday party!  Happy Birthday my dear little princess!

We've added some great new selections to our music collection!  Over the last several months numerous music pitches have come across my desk.  The fact is, I've listened to all of them and cannot find another baby listening groove that I love more than Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions.  Rockabye Baby! is the lullaby of choice for many celeb mommies and daddies and has been featured in the press in oodles of magazines and talk shows including entertainment magazines, news magazines and mommy magazines.  Even the orignal artists have commented on how they love the cool twist on their originals.  We are thrilled to add more of YOUR favorites to our collection.  I assure you that even Daddy will want to listen to these lullabies!  Check them out!  And also check out our ultra popular faves that have been around since BB&L's launch.  There's a reason they are still around.  People LOVE them, including our own children.

The post-show madness has really taken over my every waking moment.  Happily I have received oodles of fun orders as a result of the show.  Such fun!  So many mommies are requesting tutus for their pint-sized birthday princesses.  And many fabu mommies are requesting tutus for their princesses just because. . . . . every princess deserves a tutu.  So, I'm escaping to the blog for just a moment to tell you all to have a look at the fantastic photos.  As always, my incredibly talented and dear friend Heather captured more sweet shots than I could have hoped for.  Go on and have a look!  You too just might find yourself longing for a tutu.  Go on!  I dare you to look!

I cringed before I even opened my eyes this morning as I could hear the pitter pat of raindrops on my rooftop.  How could it be that we have reveled in 80 degree weather all week and expect the same forecast for next week, but today is our one day of rain.  Not sprinkles.  RAIN.  Downright nasty rain, at that.  Rain or shine, the show must go on! 

I spent much of the morning in tears wondering how we would execute our fashion show on a wet runway.  I even called every tent-rental location in Washington coming up empty handed.  This is definitely not what I had envisioned.  Believe it or not, moments before the crowd gathered, the skies parted and God smiled down on us.  Sunshine!  Pure and sweet sunshine.  The white carpet was rolled out.  The bow-tied lollipop pots were aligned.  The white chairs were set.  The favors were passed.  The tutus were fluffed.  And at last the show DID go on under a beautiful blue cloud-kissed sky.  Each of our 31 gorgeous pint-sized models were spot on with their smiles and twirls.  Even our tiniest tots were devouring the attention! 

What a blessed day it turned out to be.  It became a reunion of sorts, as many of my dear friends, old and new, attended the event.  Thank you to everyone!!  This is the first of many events for Bee Bops & Lollipops and Inside Out!
